In this part of the series of classes “Portraits,” I will break down the steps when drawing the Nose.
Step 1- Sketch in the Nostrils with a thin line extending down, but don’t connect. Lightly sketch the outline of the nose around the nostrils.
Step 2- Shade right above the nostril down the tip of the nose leaving space between the original lines you began with. Begin shading the area just above the edges of the nostril and up the bridge to begin establishing the shape of the nose.
Step 3- Begin to establish the nostrils by shading underneath and create a shadow cast by the nostrils and the tip of the nose.

Step 4- Start shading around the top of the ball of the nose. Begin defining the bridge of the nose.
Step 5- Fine tune the values
