Gina has studied privately since she was 7 years old. After graduating high school, she began her studies at Bauder Fashion College and earned 2 certificates, in Fashion Design and Interior Design and then a BFA from The University of Texas, in Arlington. Shortly thereafter, Gina moved back to California and began work as a “Clean Up Animator” for Wong Studios, in Hollywood, for 5 years and participated in Art Shows in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas with great success.

She got married and shortly thereafter gave birth to twins, Vincent and Isabella. She decided, then, to stay at home and raise them. Gina believes, Vincent and Isabella, are the most important creations in her entire life.

When her kids attended Elementary School, Gina was put in charge of their Art program, “Meet the Masters” for K-6th graders. She redesigned the program, with her own presentation, that consisted of 60-70 pictures of the Artists work. Gina held 4 assemblies (K, 1-3, 3-4, 5-6) for 700 students with 6-7 different Master Artists each year. She created master samples of artwork, for each level, and taught the students in the school’s designated classroom for art. Gina also painted backdrops for the School’s Musicals each year and in 2013, planned, prepared, and organized K-6 graders to paint 2 murals for “The Art Miles Mural Project,” which traveled around the world. That same year, she received “The Honorary Service Award,” from the State of California.

Gina’s been teaching Private Art Lessons to Home School, Charter School Members, and Public School Students, for 15+ years, in all mediums and subjects. She also teaches at a Charter School; Beginning Art, Art 1, and Art 2 classes. In 2016, she became an Art Coach, for Abby Lai at “Home School Coaches,” and teaching a variety of classes virtually for AdLIFE Academy and Excel Academy, in addition to, teaching students and adults “virtually” and “in person” for Wyzant and HeyTutor.
